To prepare the noodles for cooking, place the vermicelli in a large bowl and soak it in cold water for 5-10 minutes. It can then be added to soups or stir-fried.

Burdock Root Vermicelli Soup

Serves: 1

Ingredients:                                                                                                                  Amount
Nutrigracia Organic Angelica (Dong Quai) Slice                                                   2-3 slices
Nutrigracia Organic Red Dates                                                                                   2 pcs
Nutrigracia Organic Medlar                                                                                          1 tbsp
Organic Pak Choy                                                                                                           4 pcs 
Nutrigracia Organic Burdock Root Vermicelli                                                      1 serving size
Nutrigracia Energized ‘Relish’ Seasoning Powder                                               To taste
Nutrigracia Energized Organic Soy Sauce                                                              To taste
Purified Water                                                                                                                 800 ml


  1. Soak  sufficient amount of the vermicelli in purified water for about 5 minutes.
  2. Rinse organic Dong Quai slice, red dates and medlar with purified water, and remove the seed of red date.
  3. Add 800ml of water in a pot and boil it. Add Dong Quai slice and red dates into the pot and boil for 5-10 minutes.
  4. Add in organic medlar, Pak Choy and vermicelli and boil for another 2 minutes.
  5. Turn off the heat and season with seasoning powder and soy sauce.
  6. Ready to serve hot.

Fried Burdock Root Vermicelli

Serves: 2-3

Ingredients:                                                                                                                  Amount
Nutrigracia Organic Burdock Root Vermicelli                                                           100g
Nutrigracia Organic Shiitake Mushroom (Sliced)                                                   4 pieces
Organic garlic, chopped                                                                                               4 cloves
Organic carrot, shredded                                                                                             ½ piece
Organic eggs, beaten                                                                                                         2
Organic spring onion, chopped                                                                                    1 stalk
Nutrigracia Energized Organic Black Bean Thick Soy Sauce                                 1 tbsp
Nutrigracia Energized Organic Black Bean Soy Sauce                                            1½ tbsp
Nutrigracia Energized ‘Relish’ Seasoning Powder                                                  To taste
Nutrigracia Organic Sunflower Oil                                                                                 2 tbsp
Hot water                                                                                                                             ¼ cup


  1. Soak the vermicelli in purified water for about 5-10 minutes or until soften.
  2. In a heated wok, add 2 tablespoons of organic sunflower oil,  garlic and sauté until fragrant.
  3. Stir in mushrooms and beaten eggs and cook for about 2 minutes on medium heat.
  4. Add vermicelli and carrot then stir well.
  5. Add in black bean thick soy sauce, black bean soy sauce, seasoning powder and hot water and stir well until all the contents are well combined.
  6. Cover the wok and cook for about 3 minutes.
  7. Garnish with chopped spring onion and fried burdock root vermicelli is ready to be served.
